Default Difference between Tactical and Standard Models

I just purchased a NIB 4566TSW for my son. It has "2006 Tactical" etched on the left side of the slide. Can you tell me if there is and difference fictionally between the Tactical and standard versions of these guns? I have a Melonite 4566 myself, and it is a very smooth operating pistol. Did the Tactical pistol receive any special treatment at the factory other than the etching on the slide and the accessory rack on the bottom?

Here is a good thread on the differences. TSW vs Standard When you have a chance check out the Notable Thread Post at the top, there is a lot of great linked information. Just curious, did you purchase the 4566TSW off of GB? As I saw one on there just recently and it had "2006" etched on the slide, which I have never seen before. I sold a 4566TSW not too long ago, that was manufacture in January of 2006, and it did not have the year etched in the slide.

Thanks for the reference. Yes, it was the same pistol on GB.
