Just got back from the range today with my new BG380 and my new M&P9c...first time firing both. This was also my first time firing a pocket .380.
That loooooong hard trigger pull took a lot of getting used to. At first I thought there was something wrong with the gun till I realized I had to squeeze it literally all the way back. First question, is this trigger pull normal for a pocket 380? Are the others (Kahr, Ruger, KelTec, etc.) like this as well and what's the reasoning...is this a safety issue? I can't see ever needing to use my manual safety. It was literally a night and day difference between the BG trigger pull and the M&P9. Wish I could find a gunsmith that works these triggers.
Also, is it a problem to dry fire this gun or should I invest in some snap caps?
