I'm not a big S&W auto collector, so I don't follow the market that closely, however, I do have two 1076's with Jink's letters that confirm they are FBI guns. I know a few months ago some of these sold for what I would consider astronomical amounts, are FBI 1076's routinely bringing this or was this just an fluke in the market?

I'm considering selling one of my 1076's and would like to get a feel for the market.

After those 2 went for $2000 plus I believe I saw one more go for close to that amount and nothing since. I haven't been paying that close of attention though. I haven't seen a confirmed one for awhile so it's tough to say what the market will be.

I have on also and paid in the area of 400 for it. If you look at what the gun is, a 1076 with really no extra work done to it they should go for roughly the same price as a non FBI 1076. I have 3 regular 1076's and one FBI, I can't see a difference from any of them. They all shoot the same.

Doesn't hurt to post an ad to test the market. I might need another 1076.
