I have a Model 52-1 that is my favorite range pistol. Lately the trigger is becoming almost too light and I was wondering if there is any adjustment to firm the trigger a bit? It is a delight to shoot, but easy to double tap. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Assuming there is no damage to the hammer hooks and sear in your gun there are two things you can do to increase trigger pull.
The first would be to replace the trigger return spring with a heavier one. The stock one is roughly equivalent to the 2.5 lb one wolf offers. They sell heavier ones that go up to a 4 lb one. Changing this spring can increase he trigger pull by .25 to 1lb.
The second would be to increase the sear spring pressure on the sear. This can be done by bending the sear leaf spring toward the sear. This can be used to easily increase the trigger pull to by at least 1 to 2 lb.
Before you try either of the above make sure you check to make sure the hammer hooks, sear and disconnector are not damaged and unsafe. To do this perform the usual hammer follow and disconnector function tests.
