Picked up a S&W CS9 recently
Good things do come in small packages.....Great shooter, made me look very good at the range. Great sights, fast eye contact. Right on target from 15 to 20 feet. Gun has just enough weight to it, light and minimal recoil....Picked it up for $450, it's in excellent shape. Looked like it had not been carried or shot much. I had checked out this gun in numerous Forums to get information about it. All seemed to agree that the CS9 with its rubber grips either fit your hand or it didn't....Well it fit mine fine....Pick one up (literally) and see if it fits, if it does you won't be disappointed. Need to get a concealment holster for Florida wear....any suggestions?

CS45 owner here. My concealment holster is a homemade Kholster-clone. As a hint 225/226 Sig holsters seem to fit the CS45 well. Best of luck AND POST PICS!

For what it's worth,I carry my CS9 in a front pocket holster.Either "Uncle Mike" or "Blackhawk" make light weight nylon ones.I use the number 3 size for the CS9 and a number 4 size for the CS40 or CS45.
Congratulations on obtaining the CS9 at such a good price.

Hello and welcome.Congrats on the excellent price you paid.If the Hogue grips aren't to your liking get a set of Big Dog's custom CS9 Delrin Grips.they make a good carry gun a great carry gun.A excellent CS9 holster is made by Gould and Goodrich for on the hip carry and only costs around 25 Dollars.Desantis also makes a nice CS9 magazine belt holder that is nylon and has a velcro flap closure. The best place to buy Smith and Wesson CS9 magazines is Midway.Thier price is better than Smith's.Midway also beats Trijicon for the night sights too.The CS9 does shoot a little low to point of aim at longer distances but the addition of the night sights corrects this problem.Enjoy this excellent gun that was under appreciated during it's production run.........Mike

Check out the BladeTech UCH. It's a kydex IWB. I'm in Houston and it works great with T-shirts and shorts.

Hi Guys...thanks for all the good tips and recommendations, they are appreciated. I purchased a Don Hume IWB soft side holster for it. Will let you all know how it works. The Hogue grips feel fine in my hand. I had checked out the Big Dog grips and they looked nice. Don't know if I will go for them or not. Kind of pricey and if I didn't like them I would be out $98. I have never used a Kydex IWB holster before and will check them out. Does Trijicon made the Novak night sights and Midway sells the Novaks on their site cheaper? Is the #3 pocket an Uncle Mike's brand? Thanks again for all the good information, this is a great site.

Optical Planet sells the CS9 Trijicon night sights for the CS9 for $125 and you have the choice of three different colors for the rear
sight,Green,Yellow,or Orange. The front Sight is available in Green only. Both the Uncle Mikes and Blackhawk have a number three size pocket holster.

I carry my CS9 in a High Noon inside the waist band holster. I like it so much that I’m going to buy a couple of more High Noons for my other guns.

What model High Noon holster did you get for the CS9. I purchased a soft leather holster (IWB metal clip Mr. Softy Model) from High Noon for a S&W snub nose and did not like it. It was a son of a gun constantly forcing the gun into the holster to make it fit/shape the holster. They even sent me via email a description on how to force the gun into the holster to get the proper fit, I was very disappointed with it.

I THINK it's a Hidden Ally. It came with the gun. Fits the gun like a glove, but maybe the previous owner did a lot of work to make that happen. I rarely use the tucking option. I can even run in this thing and the gun stays put.
I've been thinking about getting a couple of Mr. Softy versions for my other guns, but I'm wondering about your experience. What kind of directions did they give?

Hello Jeffpo....You can email them and see if they still give instructions on how to fit a gun to a Mr. Softee holster....If they don't they may have corrected the situation....Good Luck
