Default S&W 1911 extractor, does it fit DW?

Guys,

I have a Dan Wesson Bobtail Commander .45. It's an older one with an external extractor.

I was told the slides for the CBOB back then were made by S&W.

Now the DW's extractor and slide indention for the extractor LOOK like dead ringers for the S&W extractor.

Are they? If so, I'd love to have a spare extractor, spring, and pin, so as to keep my CBOB running for a long time.

It shoots like a rifle and I really want to use it alot.

Thanks
