Default 5903 Holster question

I've googled this and have found nothing. I've searched the forum and found nothing either. Maybe its right in front of me but here goes.

IS the 5903 and the 5906 the same dimension? I know one is alloy and the other is all steel, I'm just curious if they will fit the same holster.

Yes they are. And check, but a lot of sig gun holsters will work also.

If they are the same and Bartman says they are then you can also check into holsters for the 4516. My 5906 no dash with early square trigger guard fits perfectly into an El Paso Saddlery "Threepersons" holster that was made for my 4516-2 with rounded trigger guard. Good luck.

They are the same but make sure the holster fits the frame style of your 5903. The older, early 3rd gen 5906 and 5903 frames had square, hooked trigger guards, much large than the later round style.

Stay Safe

Thanks guys! This is one of the rounded trigger guards. Gun was just got from Buds. Are we talking Sig 226 holsters or 229 holsters?

Okay I'm sold!! Just shoot this very nice gun. I think I'm going to stick this in the carry rotation.

I think Don Hume still makes a J.I.T. holster for the small trigger guard 5900/4000 series.

Default Another holster

If you just need a cheap holster for the range, I found my Fobus BR-2 paddle holster fits perfectly. This holster is for the Beretta 92. BTW I have the 5903 model. The holster is about 1/2 inch longer than the slide. Close enough for me.

I bought my 5903 from my dad about ten years ago, and it is the same dimensions as a buddy's late model 5906. For some reason the gun will fit in either Beretta or Sig Holsters. I have an old Safety Speed holster that I used to use for my issued Beretta 96 Brigadeer, and the gun fits perfect in the holster.

You will really enjoy the 5903; lighter than the 5906 but still accurate, and handles Golden Saber or Gold Dot + P rounds without issue.
