Congrats! My 5904 has the best trigger I've ever experienced on a pistol. Enjoy yours - and we're waiting for those pictures!

The 5904.
One of my favorite carry 9mm's. I swapped out the original top end for a 6904 complete top end. And I swapped the round back grips for the straight back grips from my 915. Also put a small strip of skater tape on the front strap.
Runs like a old Singer sewing machine & feeds / shoots anything I put in the mag. Love it!
Enjoy your 5904. excellent gun.

I have a 5904 I purchased in Germany while stationed there in 1989. Great gun but have only had the chance to put about 300 rounds through it. I plan to get some range time in the near future and get re-acquainted.

Congrats! Any 3rd gen 59, 59x or 59xx series gun is a score.. what a winner for S&W. I think the whole 59 series is an inexpensive (not cheap) goldmine to tap as everyone continues to gravitate to poly guns. I love them and they are all mine are great shooters. I still am looking for my 1st Blued 59 series gun though. I sem to have tumbled onto the SS and nickel examples and the coveted (to me) blued ones are still waiting for me to find them
Again congratulations on a great purchase!
