Default S & W 1911 PD Scandium frames

The title says it all. Do all PDs with alloy frames contain scandium. It would seem the addition of scandium would increase the strenght of the frame and would be very beneficial to frame life. I noticed that some PDs list scandium on the slide and others seem to make no mention. What gives.
From my own point of view the addition of scandium would tilt my choice to an S & W.

My SW1911PD #108283 Commander size does not have scandium written on the slide. It was built October 5, 2010. The description of the gun on S&W website says "• Exceptionally Strong Scandium Alloy Frame With The Weight Of Aluminum - 30.0 oz."

It feels good in the hand and shoots great.

Default What is value of S&W 1911 PD Scandium

I bought this pistol few years ago after another got stolen. I never shot it much . I am not an expert on the scandium guns.
What is best guess of value at this time?
