Just picked up a new 4040 PD for $550,it will hang out with my 3953TSW, 4516-1, 457, 340, 640 and Model 28. Does anybody know if the single stack 4013 mags work with the 4040 PD?

On a side note. I see that there are two 4040PDs on a well-known firearms Auction site this morning.

No, the single stack 4013 was based on the conpact 45 frame and the mags actually used a spacer in the rear for the shorter 40S&W. 3913 mags will lock in and feed well enough for the range usually. I have new ones available, will send you a PM.

I tried on of my 3913 mags, fit but would accept one 40 round when I tried to load it.
