Very nice and congrats. I have a 5903 and its my most accurate semi-auto. I love the 3rd generation pistols and espically the 5900 series.

Enjoy yours and thanks for sharing the photos.
Regards,
Howard

Very nice addition to your semi-auto collection. I love my 5904. It fits my hand perfectly, is reliable, and accurate. They are sleepers on the market today and can often be found in very nice condition for not too many bucks.

Enjoy Yours,

Jerry

I also like my 5904. I put night sights on it for when I some times carry it or use it as a home defense weapon. Holsters can be hard to find sometimes because of the square trigger guard. It also makes a nice companion for my 3904 with a square trigger guard.

Ref holsters for the 5904, I'm a big fan of the Bianchi "CarryLok" model. It's very well made and my 5904 (Frankenstein...5904 frame w/ square trigger guard, 6904 top end and straight backstrap grips from a 915) fits like a glove. It's marked model 82 Sig 229. Fits all my 3rd Gen Smiths perfect.

The last 4 years on the job, I carried Colt 1911in a Bianchi "CarryLok". Never an issue. Love the holster.

Good Luck.

My latest S&W purchase was also a 5904 with a square trigger guard. There certainly are not as many choices for holsters when you have the square trigger guard. They do look cool, however. I ended up finding a NOS Don Hume leather holster on Ebay. If you are looking for a good nylon holster, for not a lot of money, the Uncle Mike's Super Belt Slide in a size 30 fits perfectly. It's actually for a full-sized HK USP, which also has a large trigger guard.

I have found most of the leather holsters for a Sig P225/226 will fit the S&W with square trigger guard. Holsters can be found with a little searching.
