New, to me, 5906TSW
Just picked this up. a Smith & Wesson 5906TSW.
I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, 'cause I've got a bum shoulder right now.

Nice. I have an older 5906. Great gun for plinking/targets. Too heavy to carry, but that's what others are for. Good luck with it....

Love my regular "Low Country" 5906. Not a single burp yet.

Sweet!
That is a very nice pistol. I have a 5906 in the standard version and love it. I'm betting that TSW will be a good shooter!

Very nice. I really like my standard 5906 and would love to pick up a TSW someday.

Nice. I like the black controls better than stainless.
I just bought a 5906 from a private owner (not LE) on GunBroker.com last week, should be here by Friday. I can't wait.

Nice purchase. I have one 5906 already with a second 5906 that should be in my hands this coming Tuesday. I've had my first 5906 now for about one month and love this gun. I carry it and so far size or weight have not been an issue.
The 5906 is really a well manufactured pistol, I was really impressed the first time I held it and shot it. You will get a lot of enjoyment out of that one, it's a keeper.

Congrats. I have a run-of-the-mill 5906 and 4003TSW. I love those TSW's. It'll run forever.

Well I'll throw one more comment in here. Picked up my new (to me) 5906 and it is perfect. The gun is actually nicer than the seller said it was. Couldn't be happier.
I had been looking for a while for one of these from a private owner instead of a LE trade-in. Allegedly the guy who sold this had run less than a box of bullets through it since new. He bought it for his wife, wife did not like it because of weight, gun sat in safe, gun came out of safe and onto GunBroker, and gun finally came to me after I unexpectedly won the bid at $405.00 plus freight. I thought for sure the bid was going to go a little higher because of how nice the gun was but it did what it did.
I figure everyone should own three 3rd generation Smiths so now I'll start looking for a 4506 to to add to my 5906 and 6906.
