Overlooked CS9
I have owned the CS9 for 9 years and almost never carried it. Originally we were allowed to carry it off duty but then we switched to the MP9 and now we are not allowed to carry the MP9. This has been in my safe for years. This forum helped me rediscover this little gem. I put some night sights on it and some sweet Big Dogs. This gun is now perfect. I also just started using a Fobus paddle holster which is great and very comfortable.

Looks like it would be quite handy - a number of people I respect really like their CS9s.

I remember Roy's having them in their display case 8 or 9 years ago. At the time, I carried a Glock. Seeing the CS pistols is what rekindled my interest in Smith and Wesson pistols.

I just picked up a CS9 myself. What is the model Fobus holster you are using? Looking for one myself.

It is the Fobus SG21. It is a little longer than the CS9 because it is mad for several guns. It is very comfortable and secure. I got it on ebay for $23...

I think that a CS9 is next on my list of must have pistols. Regards 18DAI.

Love those big dog "gator" grips I'd love to have a set for my cs 45. I still want to pick up a 9 & 40 in the CS series. but I better hurry they're not getting any cheaper.

If you don't like the Fobus Holster you can get a excellent owb holster from Gould and Goodrich for 25 dollars. When I bought my CS9 I asked Smith about where to get a good holster because I am left handed and wanted one that would fit the gun and they directed me there. You will find it to be extremely comfortable when compared to the fobus holster that I have also....Jmho....God Bless....Mike
