Default Help with identifying marks

Greetings,

One of my Deputies took a report on the theft of a handgun (S&W Model 59). The owner didn't have a serial number but described it thus: "A 9mm NICKEL/BLACK SMITH & WESSON, MODEL #59 WITH THE WORDS "SANTA ANNA" STAMPED ON THE RECEIVER"

Have any of you seen this? My best guess is that it may have been a police trade in and, therefore, there would be multiple pistols out there and we could not use these marks as a particularly identifying feature.

Thanks.
