Default BirdSong's Green-T Finish on Chiefs Special-45

So I just received my CS-45 back from Walter Birdsong's had the Green-T finish with Black-T controls and Barrel. This a beautiful finish. I usually go with Robar NP3 and have for my last 7 guns but i wanted to try something different.

The Green-T has a slick teflon feel to it like the NP3 and cleans up just as easily. It does show friction wear more than the NP3 but Birdsong's assures customers that the actual finish properties are still impregnated into the metal and this is normal.

I had been promised an unheard of less than two week turn around time and Robar was lagging at 8 weeks. So i shipped off my gun at a Fed-Ex slap of 80 bucks.

Unfortunately Birdsong's ran into to some machine problems where less than 2 weeks turned into 3 and 3 into 4. I maintained email contacts with Susan at Birdsong's she was always prompt in replying back with updates and apologies. I was supposed to get it last Friday but something else went wrong and Wally the owner advised me that enough was enough and my job was free of charge !

Now this is Customer Service at it's finest.

XS Big Dots installed and Big Dog Long grips hopefully on the way next week.

That explains it ...

I thought that either the camera filter was weird, or else you'd left your guns in the water and they'd molded.

Just kidding.
