Default Price check for model 39 NIB

Hello...
Friend of a frined would like to sale me...New In Box model 39 with 2 mag and box(do not know what dash)he want$450 for it.
how much would it be ? Low-high price ? I didn't see gun yet and like to know more info. about this.

I only know that model 39 will be use same mag as 3919,it is truth ?
and what will be weak point of this gun compare to 3913.

That sounds like a very good price for NIB. You cannot use 3913 magazines in a 39 - they are too short.

The 3904/3906/909 magazines will work, but will stick out of the bottom of the grip slightly. The 39/39-2/439/539/639 magazines work and will look a little better, but are no longer made. The price you listed seems to be fair if the gun is truly NIB (not doubting your friend, but people have different definitions of NIB at times). You won't regret picking up any of the 39 series. They are great pistols that have a natural grip for most of the people I know.

It's my understanding that the Model 39 was patterned after the walther P-38 and that with proper measuring and notch cutting that the P-38 mags will fit. My son has a P-38 and although it wouldn't stay in because of not having the release notch, it did seem to fit exactly. Comments?

for mag. I found out that S&W still sale it for $41/mag...
but I still need to meet saler first will keep you portit.
