Default Holster choices for the 908

I posted a while back about my 908 shooting low at 50', I got some good advice, so I put Hogue grips on it and that helped, I still may get some Novak's for it. (more good advice) now I need 1 more favor, some choices for IWB holsters, I prefer leather and if possible under $100.00. I have a cheap OWB holster and I forget how light and comfortable that gun carries. Need IWB for better concealment (summer time). Thanks in advance pictures always appreciated.

mine rides in a Kramer #3 IWB, not a cheap solution but it might work for you as well. You might also try fellow forum member Ray at Lobogunleather.com. His product is great and his pricing is very reasonable.

Thanks for your input I will check them out. I figured I would have gotten a bigger response on holster suggestions, with the 908 style being fairly popular on this forum. Oh well.

it's not all leather but I'm a big fan of the Crossbreed Supertuck. I've got one for my 6906 and I love it.

Thumbs up I've been carrying....

... my 908s / 910s Hybrid in this "thumbreak" combination from Tagua of Paraguay...

Tagua Gunleather

After wearing this rig daily for more than 6 months about the only thing I can find fault with is that the maker used white stitching which did not hold the black dye very well and now it shows in areas of high wear....

Even though I probably didn't need to, I also added a couple of 1/8" thick clear silicone drawer bumpers to the inside of the magazine pouches to increase the resistance it takes to pull a magazine. Unless the pouch has a tensioning screw, I find this to be good practice as a mag carrier ages.

It is becoming harder to find specific holsters for the 3rd Gen S&W's unless you order a custom one made. Good news is that other firearms are of similar size and sometimes their holsters are serviceable. For the 908 you might try holsters for the SIG 239 or Glock 19 or 23 and find one that works fine. Of course you need to try the fit before you buy.

The FOBUS model SG-21 fits a lot of Smith and Wesson semi's very well.

Here it is with my Model 659.

Take a look at the Hume 715 OT, I purchased the model for the 3913 and it fits my 908 like a glove, and the price was great too, a well made quality holster. Also any holster for the 39 series will work as well for the 908. I got mine from Gunners Alley great guys, very helpful. Don Hume Clip-On Inside The Waistband Holster (H715M-WC)
