Who likes 639s? I just got one....
I really like my M39 no dash, I just dont want to shoot it to death. I also really like my stainless revolvers. So I have been waiting for a 639 to come along. Well I guess my day has come. A local store had this one listed on GB, they sell most of the used guns on GB rather than the store. Any how It looks pretty good, everything but the box. Its in the A7868XX range. I will pick it up Friday or Saturday. I wound up paying $355 plus tax, I dont feel thats to bad.

You got a good deal, especially since it has 2 factory original stainless magazines. I have seen those magazines go for 60 bucks apiece at times.
Shoot the hell out of it, it will take it. I do enjoy mine.

Great find. They'r not common, for sure. Love mine:
50 shots. 10 yards rapid fire.

Congrats on the nice find. I've got the same gun, but with the squared trigger guard.

For comparison, another fixed sight version. Stocks are obviously not S&W issue.

Nice pistol. I got one a few months back with the fixed rear sight and round trigger guard. Always been a favorite....fits my hand just right, shoots where it looks , and eats any kind of ammo. Enjoy.

You got a great deal on a nice 639. SS guns are nice because you can just keep shooting until you are out of ammo and the guns don't show the wear. Enjoy your latest edition.

Owned both a M59 and 559. Regret selling the 559 - with the steel frame - heavy as a duty gun, but shot +P+ loads till the cows came home !!!
