Default Bodyguard 380 accessories

My first post here & first weapon since my military days long ago.

I've just ordered the Bodyguard 380 and wonder where I can find a holster that fits it, with its laser pointer installed.

Also needed is a small locking (combination) storage box.

I assume economical ammo is available.

Thanks
Bo

Congrats on getting the BG 380. It's had it's problems, but they seem to be worked out. Mine functions flwlessly. So far I have one IWB holster from the holster store. I have added some leather backing to it to make it more comfortable, but there are many avilable out there now and more coming, so you just have to Google for BG 380 holsters and pick some. What works for me may not work for you. I have bought some on other peoples recommendations and they sit in a box, because they don't work for me. Take a look at the Supertucks. Sorry, best I can do.

Congrats on the new BG380. If you run a search, I think that there are a couple of threads on holsters for it.

I too have just purchased a BG380, and I'm pleased with it so far. I bought a Crossbreed minituck for mine that the dealer recomended. This too gets my thumbs up It conceals really well and you hardly know it's there. Check them out on their web site.

Cool BG380 slide won't go all the way back...FIX!

I'm posting this where ever I can, because it could cost a lot to fix for no reason. If you are shooting your BG380 and the slide won't go back all the way, it is probably because of the little screw that holds the laser in place. The tiny screw that holds the laser in the bottom part of the gun has shaken loose, and is blocking the slide from locking back. I went home, noticed the screw was poking up, tightened the screw...problem SOLVED. This is a simple problem to fix, and I'm going to call S&W for a new screw just in case...problem SOLVED.

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your new BG 380. Apparently there's alot of good holsters out there for the BG 380. I have pocket, IWB, and OWB holsters that work well for me. Here they are.

Tagua Gunleather Back Pocket Holster S&W Bodyguard 380 Right Hand Black PK5-020 PK5-020. Tagua Gunleather Leather Holsters.

Bodyguard 380 Holster, M&P Shield Holster, LC9 Holster, LCP Holster, LC9 Lasermax Holster, LCP Crimson Trace, PPS Holster, P2000 Holster, P238 Holster (both the IWB and OWB)

The Tagua is a decent holster but I like the Kusiak holsters a little better.

I am using the Blackhawk pancake holster and love it. It is comfortable and don't even know that it is there. Plus it is only $25. I also have the Blackhawk IWB holster for it for more concealablity, also the De Santis pocket holster, love them all.

Plenty of answers for the holster, for the box check Amazon they have any type you could want. Also if you join Amazon smile they will make a small donation to any charity they have listed. I have mine going to the second amendment foundation, it doesn't cost anything to you.

I also have a older BG380, they have a new one coming out without the laser. No problems with ours. The laser screw problem adav93 talks about is because some or all the older one's didn't have blue Loctite on the screw, I think it's on there now. Do a forum search and you will see some of the problems with them and what to keep an eye for. Hope you enjoy yours, we enjoy ours and it eats any ammo we feed it.

And a warm from “wild and wonderful “ West Virginia at least that’s what they tell us.

The laser is internal, it can be repaired or replaced by the factory...
