Grip quest-1076 palm swells?
After acquiring a really nice 1076 & beginning to do the few minor odd & ends it needs to bring it up to near perfection, the factory palm swell grips have a ding on the right side and I must replace them. Little did I know those were stored between the Lost Ark of the Covenant and the Holy Grail & Indy Jones just kicked my *** to get his.
Any one have a compass bearing on some now that the factory declares them obsolete and none in stock? Nothing turned up using the search function here (or the classifieds rather).

I get off duty tomorrow morning and will check, but I believe I have at least one, new, but without wrapper, S&W factory 1076 FBI palm swell plastic grip.
I've already got one on my 1076 and it makes a world of difference.
We just changed to 155gr Hornady 10mm for a duty load and the palm swell does help out.

I called home and I've got a new 1076 palm swell grip. I can send you a photo of it if you'd like, just PM me the email address or cell phone number. Maybe we can trade for something?

I got your message. If you provide an address I'll mail you the grips and if you like them send me something in trade or a check. Here are some photos. I saw A very small scratch at the bottom on the right side where the cross pin holds the grip to the frame, but that may be from living in my 1076 box of stuff for awhile. I don't see any other marking or evidence the grips were ever on a pistol.

If they are discontinued it is a recent thing, I bought a half dozen pair a couple of months back. Who told you they were no longer available?

Smith and Wesson no longer has them when I called Last Week. I am also looking for a pair if anyone would be willing to sell some.

I got mine from S&W. Maybe I cleaned them out. Sorry Seriously, I'd call again with exact part number; they've told me stuff before that turned out not to be true. Just like the local Chevy dealer, I have to find the dang part number for them myself half the time. Check the parts list on their website and call them with that number. I've found that if its something over 15 years old, sometimes the CSR's aren't familiar with the product and possibly don't know how to easily look up something like that if you don't have the P/N number for them.

I did have the exact part number, the SW rep said they were out, and showed no more on order.
