Default Walther PK380 problems

I have a friend that is getting really annoyed at S&W customer service. She bought a Walther PK380 in May and it broke in the first shooting session, but that's not the problem. The problem is that S&W keeps telling her that they are waiting for a part from Germany. They have had the gun since May 25th and they are still telling her they are waiting for a part.

I don't know what to tell her. They have been telling her than since the second week they had it. It was to become her primary carry gun.

Any advice?

That's a bummer, I've had mine about a year with no problems, I always was curious if they used all parts from Germany or how they do it? If I ever have a problem like that I just turn it over to my wife, problems solved within 24 hours! Lol. Seriously though I would think they would replace it being so new.

Unfortunately she will have to hang in there w/S&W customer service. If it was me once repaired I'd trade it on something else.

She is frustrated because S&W has had it longer than she has
