Default Finally, A Deal on a CS45

I wish I could say I got it for an incredibly low price, but that's not the case. I always get "real tight" when I read about someone's NIB 3913 find at a garage sale for $10!

However, I did manage to snag a very low time CS45 in blue, with BigDog grips for $500. It includes the original box, grips and papers; and I swear it has dust in the barrel. The BD grips make a noticable difference in comfort; they don't feel so fat. Fireworks for the 4TH!

I think you did good. I haven't even seen a CS45 locally, several CS40's and CS9's, but no 45's.
I would have grabbed it up at that price too.

Great job finding one. I have been looking for one for quite a while also. I found one last Sat. at the LGS and really felt lucky. No dust in mine. Patience is a virtue I guess. Where can I buy the Big Dog grips?

I'd just Google Big Dog Grips. I bet you can get a lot of information on this site as well if you search the same. Congrats on your new one, too.

I took it to the range today and it shot like a champ. No doubt I had my hands on a .45. And, it carries very well between 3 and 4. I'm a happy camper.

Glad to hear it shoots so well.
I have it's big brother, the 457. I like my 457.

I've had a 457 for for about 4 years now, it's a great pistol and the accuracy is excellent. I use mine for pin shooting, and it has put a bit of bacon on the table. Of course, it's larger so I don't carry it, but that isn't why I bought it.

I'm finally beginning to realize I may have more 3G .45s than I might be able to rationalize. But the idea of selling any of them is kinda scary.

I am reasonably certain that the NIB 3913 purchased at a garage sale for $10 is pure fiction. Not that I am a garage sale kind of guy BUT I have met a few of them over the years. And I can't recall any of them talking about buying any kind of guns, let alone something that was new in the box or for $10.

That's just my .02 worth. Okay. I'll go up to $10 but not a penny higher!

Oh, and I almost forgot. Congrats on the CS45. Sounds like you scored a beauty!
