Default Doug Koenig 1911

I was very lucky recently to have inherited some really nice hanguns, one of them being a Doug Koenig 1911. Where would I be able to find info on this gun, tried the Koenig website but not much there. I have had the chance to shoot about 50 rounds and loved it. I would also like to know what is involved in increasing trigger pull, seemed I could touch it with a feather to shoot, I could get used to it, just different fromt he others I have. Thanks in advance,
ed

Try the S&W website for info.

I would leave the trigger alone and just get used to it. The trigger is why so many people go to 1911s.
You could bend the proper leaf on the sear spring to stiffen it some, but why?

Which model did you het?
