I haven't yet. Bought two of them (new) a few years ago and won't take them to the range again until I have them checked by S&W.
I never fired the first one much, as the backstrap of the grip presses against a bone near the base of my thumb (instead of the middle of the web between my thumb and index finger). I've spoken to others who have the same problem. Quite uncomfortable after a couple dozen rounds. The second one has never been fired.
I read a review on how many problems if any gun owners who purchased the ppk or the ppks that were made by smith .I think 98 percent stated the gun they owned had no problems:some return them other said they did not.
I also read a few who sent them had other issue when they got them back
I fired the ppks the other day gun ran excellent I am not a fan throwing the decocker with a loaded round in the chamber to safety no matter what the issue is I myself ride the hammer down not letting it drop.
I stop a gun shop a few back look at a bersa the guy show me the same set up dropping the hammer with the decocker to safe NO WAY FOR ME scared the hell out of me in the store.I ask would you do that with a live round in the chamber He stated yes it will not fire hey any thing can fail
I didn't, when I never could get it to run, I sold it to a guy at the gun show, to whom, I'd been bitchin' about it. He wanted it, anyway, so I was happy to take a $25.00 "hit" on it. Good riddance, my Bersa is everything that "swalther" should have been!
