A 4046 was my LEO issued weapon for about 10 years. This weapon in my opinion was really to heavy for daily CCW. When I did try to carry it CCW, I had a Yaqui slide, but I didn't like it... then I went to an Uncle Mikes IWB open top, that i carried in the small of my back. This carried better, but a little uncomfortable when riding a long distance in the car.

Thanx for the advice!! I'm used to a 1911 so they are at about the same comfort level I guess.

I carry my 4043 in a Blade-Tech IWB and like it. The Stringray is another good choice. It has belt loops in front and behind the pistol.
Ths really helps when you carry a heavier piece like the 4046. Check their web site.
Blade Tech holsters, knives and tactical gear for military, law enforcement, shooting competition and hunting.

I talked to him about making one for my 4003 and he said he had either a 4043 or 4046 to use as a form.
