Very nice!
That CSP 4006 reminds me a lot of my Melonite 5906.

Very nice I would love to have one of them.I really like the melonited ones. I still have to send my regular old 4003 in one of these days to get converted to decock only.

The external "safety" isn't a safety at all. It only decocks the hammer and is spring loaded to return to the "fire" position. My bobbed-hammer S/S 4566 has it, and I like it. The gun is strictly DA/SA with no functional safety other than the heavier DA trigger.
Nice pair, OP.

Very nice set of melonite 3rd gens. I have seen a couple of those. 4566s around, but they have always been priced like the seller thinks it is gold plated. I haven't seen one of melonite 4006s for sale. Enjoy you nice set of pistols.

Didn't know that was possible. May look into it myself for my 4506.

It may be difficult to have it done, at least for a while, since the company hasn't been replenishing some of the 3rd gen stock parts. It may show up as "obsolete" for the time being. This may change as the company eventually decides what parts they want to re-order from their vendors in the near future in order to continue to support their customers owning & using 3rd gen guns.

When I bought my 4003 earlier this year they said it was around $40 + shipping. Hopefully when I get around to it they will still be able to. If not I'll have to "suffer" with it how it is.

Will the factory convert my 4506 to decock only? I like that much better than the current system.

You'd have to contact the factory, I had emailed them and they got back to me in a couple days.
