Are there any forum members who have had custom work done to their 1076 and are willing to share info/pictures? Anything from trigger jobs, sights, grips, metal finish, etc. I realize most do not want to alter their 1076's, especially FBI models, but does anyone carry one on a regular basis and has modified it to suit their preference?
The only modifications I'm thinking of doing include sending the gun back to S&W to get polished up and the night sights (dead now) replaced. I don't really plan on carrying this gun as I can carry a Glock 20 for the same weight yet almost double the round count. I can also get a new Glock 20 tomorrow in the same configuration as what I have now. Whereas the 1076 is limited to safe-queen status / range shooting.
