Default SW 1911 photos - not right...

This is a small matter to many/most I'm sure, but it really bugs me - if there are messages on the pistol in "real life", shouldn't it be visible on all ad photos provided by the company - I just don't think it's right to pretend it's not there.

Here's what I'm talking about - if I went to sell this pistol used and photoshoped-out the caution, do you think the buyer would be surprised?

I'd be a bit cheesed if I bought a gun without actual pictures of what it would look like.

Its there, trust me... It has been shaded out in the photo, look at the 1911PD model at S&W website. The same applies, I believe it to be for a selling value. Not many folks really want someones idea permanently on the receiver, so simply lighten the lettering to be barely visible.

Sad, but true...

It would look so much better in "real life" without that stupid warning.....

I guess thats why a lot of us love the older S&W's, including me....... I shot an "E" series this week that a friend bought, great handling, really nice 1911. Better than my Kimber's for sure.......

If this image on the S&W website is wrong, send email to CS and let them know. They will correct it.
