CS40 with big dog grips
Abought a month ago I bought a cs40 , I got a great deal with 6 extra mags. The problem is for a single stack the grip seems a lot bigger than my 6906,s so I just wondered if the big dogs make a big difference. Right now the grip seems fatter and deeper from frontstrap to back I really like the gun but can't get used to the grip size. If anybody has a pic side by side of a 6906 next to a cs40 whith new grips I would love to see it, if the grips don't help much I may sell it, but really think I could love it with smaller grips. Please help me keep this gun. Thanks Dan

I don't have a side-by-side photo, but I can tell you that the thin, straight backstrap Big Dog grips (which are simply cut down factory Delran grips) are a huge improvement over those fat, sticky rubber grips with their ridiculously humped backstrap. They're also one hell of a lot better looking, in my view.
Factory, rubber grip
Big Dog grip

You get rid of that palm bulge that you get with the stock Hogue grips. I have the Big Dog grips on my cs9 and cs45 (same gun as the 40). I actually liked the stock rubber grips, and almost regretted ordering the big dog grips. Then I tried the bd grips and was glad I did.
He modifies the Delrin grips to fit the cs model, but they look like they are stock, the finish is that good.

You guys just talked me into ordering a set, I chose the full length grips that extend down to the bottom of the magazine. The grips are for the cs45 I picked up today.

I was the culprit in the developement of Big Dog's CS9 Delrin Grips because of the problems I had with the houge grips printing out in CC Mode and CS9 grip #1 sits on my gun with the updated alligator treatment. They make a world of difference in concealability and shooting comfort. If I had a quarter for every time I heard "If these grips came from the factory this would be my off duty gun" I would be rich.Get them you will not regret it and when you speak to G let him know Mike said hi......
