Default ANyone ever wax a semi auto?

I know Renassaince makes an all steel revolver look amazing (I know it makes mine look amazing), but has anyone ever waxed a blued S&W semi auto? I have a 915 and a Beretta M9 that I would consider waxing.

+1 on the wax! I've always waxed firearms that will be
in adverse conditions. Now, using Ren. Wax, I do it for cosmetic
reasons as well. TACC1

A handgun, no. But, I do use Johnson paste wax on my blued barrel Marlin rifle. Slick and shinny.

Just picked up some paste wax last night and did all my blued revolvers.Looked great and no finger prints.Tried it on my 1911s and and all 2 of my stainless guns this morning.Really brings out the shine and easy to do.

I use Flitz Polish on all my metal pistols, even on the slide of my Glock. IMO It makes them easier to clean and I like the way they look.

I Ren wax all my guns.It makes them all look great.Just a word of caution with Flitz Polish and Mother's Mag Polish they are abrasive. One day I thought the slide would look nice polished so I used Mothers Mag Polish and finger pressure and the CS9 stamp amd S+W stamps started comming off.Well once it started I finished it and the slide is now clean without markings.

But how does it affect the alloy frames of a S&WE 915 or say a Beretta M9?
