Thumbs up 3953

A friend talked me out of my 3913 so I thougt I'd get a 3953 to replace it. I really like the little 9mm. Does anyone have a good suggestion for a belt carry(OWB) holster. I want something secure and a comfortable fit. I never got a chance to get a holster for the 3913 so any suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks

There are a couple of great holstermakers on this board.

You may also want to check "USAMIKE99" on Ebay. He has a good selection of Gould & Goodrich holsters at attractive prices. I've bought a couple from him and have been quite pleased.
Put "3953 holster" in the Ebay search engine.

Earlier this year I bought a CQC-S from Alessi for my 4040PD which is quite similar to a 3913 in size & weight and like it very much. I've also been eyeing similar holsters from TT Gunleather.

Over the years I accumulated a couple of horsehide Kramers, one on the belt and one inside the waistband, but at this point in time you're choices are limited.

Pretty much that means try and get lucky on ebay, or go the custom route.

While those are pretty much your choices, DeSantis and a few others might be able to make one as a special order, but I don't think anyone will have one in stock.

If you want a nice leather pancake OTB, IWB, or convertible, Simply Rugged who's a forum member should be able to set you up nicely.

Wait a second, Safariland should have one in the 567 or 568 series that will fit too. Those models are kind of universal fit mould themselves holsters, readily available, and really quite good. Hopefully they won't recommend a 4 inch model and saddle you with the extra and unnecessary length.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll check them out. I think I may go the custom made route in leather. I have always liked a leather holster

I think finding a holster is the least of you problems, you need to find better friends! Someone that would talk you out of a 3913 is no friend at all! If you find a 3953, hold on to it.

I don't know how much time Ray spends on the forum anymore but you might try him. Great product, not a bad price and turnaround was not too bad either. He did something for my s&w 4053. It turned out well.

Just received my 2C1 from Garrity gunleather for my 3953 TSW. Quality is excellent. Equal in my opinion to Josh Bulman.

I had the 3953 in my hand when I let the 3913 go. My friend would do anything for me and I for him. That's why he "talked" me out of the 3913.
