Default New 6906

I have been meaning to post my purchase of a 6906 for a bit now. It came with the original box and all papers...along with three 12-round magazines...of which two were still wrapped in the original brown wrapping paper. Does not look to be shot much at all. Happy to have it and still have to get out to the range with it.

A delayed response -- I just bought one, too. I have this secret urge to buy a lot of S&W 3d Gen pistols, while they can still be found for decent prices...

Looking forward to shooting mine (used, 90%) soon. A solid piece of work. Should last a long time. Will stay away from +P to keep in running longer.

Good luck with yours -- which you have had for two months now -- so you should be able to report in on it!

Not sure why my original picture took a dump...but will try it again. Do I like it...it's like asking me if I love my two children. The 6906 is a piece of art in my opinion. All of the 3rd generation models I have (645 transitional, 6906 and 4516) are the best of the best in my opinion. I also tossed in a picture of the 6906 with my Mauser HSC .380...which is also a favorite of mine.

That urge about buying 3rd Gen S&Ws is bad. I had it once.
