Default Anybody ever have one of the "long" Model 52 extractors break

I'm referring to the Models 52 no-dash and 52-1. Just curious, as I have a 52-1 I've shot a few thousand rounds through. No problems yet, would buy a spare new extractor but have only seen a couple over the years and the people wanted ridiculous $ for them.

We're not going to admit that we've never had a problem, for if we do, you know what is going to happen at our next range session!

Default

I have never had one break, but I do own a spare just in case.

A few years ago someone(not S&W) did a run of extractors. I think they cost about $25.

Default 52 extractor

As luck would have it, I just broke or chipped the extractor tip on one of my 52's and have not been able to find one. Any help?
