I need to find out what S&W automatic this sight fits. It is slightly to short for a 6906 or 5906 frame. Does anyone know what model this sight fits?

I contacted Laser Devices, INC and they do not know of ever making this sight. They are currently heavily involved with millitary work and dont have the staff to research this. Any ideas of inside knowlege?

That's interesting that they say they do not know of ever making the sight, I did a goggle search on "LDM-109" and came up with one for a Beretta 92 that a person has on their webpage commenting on how much they like it.

I also found a post on the AR-15 forum made back in 2007 asking what size battery does this old laser take, apparently they were out of production as far back as 2007,
which could explain why the person you talked to did know of them being made... could have been long discontinued before they started working there.

Well the 5906 is a 1/2" longer in the barrel and OAL

The sight in question will fit a Sig Sauer P226...
It takes a 2CR11108 6v battery
