Default Improved steps for laser button fix VIDEO DIY

Made a short video to show how I installed the laser button fixes with a new tubing I found at Ace hardware that works much better than any I'd found previously including qtip, spray can tubes etc. This tubing has just the right side wall thickness and soft supple quality that wont ruin the blister switches over time. I can't put into words how good the buttons work now.

The key to this fix was to stop trying apply the fix on the buttons then installing from the outside, bad idea, that makes it more difficult, takes longer and the buttons wont be seated right if you open up the gun and check.

Not to mention this method really abuses the button's edges and lip. Instead, I chose to remove the laser and slide the fix onto the nipple from the inside which takes less overall time and works a little better in my case. Hell MUCH better.

Then I loctite the cover screw which loves to come loose with firing and recoil vibrations. Now I have truly fixed the BG-380 and confident this will last a long time without any issues or degradation.

The key again was
(1) the right tubing
(2) length cut to be flush with the seal but not riding up on the nipple itself beyond the surface level....
(3) getting the tube piece cut VERY square and flat on both sides with no sharp edges,
(4) installing from the inside making sure the buttons are seated perfectly in the gun and not damaged or deformed.
(5) Using loctite to prevent the laser cover screw from loosening
(6) I slightly tensioned the watch battery springs to hold the batteries tight and wiped all finger tip oils and grime off the contacts when installing.

I just squirted some premium Silicone instead of the sleeve/collar method. Seems to work just right and very easy.
