Congratulations on a fine pistol there. The 4006 is a tough, reliable and fun pistol. I may be a little biased since a 4006 was my first gun and that pistol is still on my list of guns I don't ever want to sell.
Enjoy it and let us know how it shoots.

Hello Bubbiesdad, I have a set of Hogues that I took off my 4006. They are just to wide for my paws. Can send you a pic and price if you'd like. They are brand new.

Sounds good. I have four other stainless, including a 638, 659 and a 64.To me, wood almost has to be on a stainless gun.
Checking it out last night, LOVE the trigger reset on this thing.

Would like to see that 659 with wood grips. I have a 659 and put the pachmayr rubber grips on it and it doesnt look quite right. And it is also kinda fat now. Wood could be a good option. I agree that wood does look nice on stainless. Congrats on the 4006, I got one just like yours. I love this pistol and it shoots really well.

Congrats on the new 4006. I know you are going to love that pistol because every one who gets one falls under its spell, self included. Love my 4006TSW.

Try the Uncle Mike's. I have used them on two different 659's I had and they feel better and are a bit thinner than the pachys.

Very nice. I looked at one of these over the weekend. I tried to make a deal but the GS owner wouldn't budge. There will be one in my future.
