what is the difference between PC 1911 and a similar size 1911 that would not make it work in a model specific holster??.....I am not a 1911 guy so I would like to know...just in case

Can you post a photo of your gun? Does it have a accessory rail on the frame? If so, a standard 1911 holster will not be cut wide enough to accept the rail.

It appears to be a 5 inch full size 1911, thus any 1911 full size should fit. Google 1911 full size holsters - the results should get you on the right track. Pick a few that you like and at your price point, call and confirm they're holster will fit.
....and BTW, great looking Performance Center 1911 you scored.

It's been a long time since I've owned a paddle holster, but one of the ones I recall liking more than most was from Kramer Leather. Not cheap, but well made and it will assure that drawing your gun the won't unseat the holster. They indicate four different SW1911s in their fitment chart.

You should be able to find both leather and Kydex/Injection Molded models. Some mfgs offer both where others specialize in one or the other.
You can Google paddle holsters 1911 and get lots of links. Unfortunately the way search engines work it is difficult to filter to specifics.

Another thought: try looking on eBay for a Safariland paddle holster. I did that search and came up with a fair number of reasonably priced options. I used to have one with the more triangular shaped paddle that worked well even with a heavy 3rd gen S&W 45. Might be worth checking out.

Also looking for paddle/competition holster for PC1911
Hi All: I am also looking for a holster for my new PC 1911. (See Photo). I have looked at every holster sight I can think of, and none of them specify the PC1911. I own several S&W M&P models and have three Double Alpha Academy competition holsters, but even they do not specifically list the PC1911. I have emailed several of the holster companies and have yet to receive a reply.

The most comfortable paddle holster I have ever used is the Kramer MSP...not a cheap solution, but I think the very best.
From what I see the 1911PC should fit any full sized holster for 1911.
