Default 6904 bobbed hammer

I just got agreat deal on a 6904. I'm old school and want a regular hammer. Can this be done without much difficulty? What hammer could be used to replace the bobbed one?

The 5906/5903 Hammer can be swapped very easily.

You'll need to switch the bobbed hammer with the spurred hammer on the shorter 6904 strut by knocking out the small roll pin. The spurred 59xx hammers have a longer strut attached.

Depending on what gun the hammer came from, the strut could fit. Got a "proper" hammer twice from E-Bay, & both fit right on my 3913, & 4516. They came from 3rd gen guns, but don't know which model. Guess I was lucky. The guns should have been built this way. GARY
