Source for 3rd Gen 10mm pistols?
I presently have a S&W 610 10mm revolver, and I really like the cartridge. My favorite ammo is the Double Tap 165 gr load.
I'd like to obtain a 3rd Gen 10mm pistol. My first choice would be a 1076. Second choice would be a 1006 or a 1066. I have been checking GunsAmerica frequently; I see several 3rd Gen pistols there, but no 10mm's. I have checked and left word at the local gun shops, but they haven't run across any.
Anyone here have any ideas of other possible sources for 3rd Gen 10mm pistols, particularly the 1076?
Thanks

There's at least a handful on Gunbroker right now but you may not care for the prices.

Just keep looking. I stumbled onto a 1076 at my LGS. They are the number 1 volume dealer in Ohio though, so that helped. They always have a nice selection of used guns. Mine came out of your neck of the woods. It started life as an Auburn Hills PD issue gun

Its funny, I had no interest in S&W autos or the 10mm round until I found a 1076 in a pawn shop that was a great deal last year and now I love both. I now have a 1076 & 1006 and love the 10mm round,,,,who knew? Keep searching the auction sites and local stores they pop up from time to time.

Beat me to it. (Vances) I have bought a couple of police trades there. Always a good selection of 3rd Gens and usually a few in 10 mm.

I just don't care for DA/SA pistols, I'll stick with my 610 and 1086.

I got my last one at Cabelas. Someone here tipped me off to it being there IIRC. They also have the "Gun Library" on their website and can search their national inventory for one. Sometimes the prices are good, sometimes not.
