Default used 6904

i have a 6904 of my own... got it nib years ago.... and of course i love it... so ive been looking for another used one.. found one today... $349...lots of wear... ive been really surprised by the price of used s and w...i know what a great gun it is.... but i just cant see paying that much when i could pay a little more for a new 9mm... whether it be s&w, beretta, stoeger... of which i own all and am very pleased with and would carry with no worries... what does anybody else think..
thanks

Not surprising. That would be about the right price for a used S&W auto pistol. S&W has a reputation of quality as with most U.S. made steel frame manufacturers.

You should ask yourself, 'how many more years does the gun have?' If the gun will last 30 more years without hiccups then that's $11.67/year of reliability.

Sometimes a person thinks for only few more dollars I can get a new semi-auto. Over a year ago I bought a 5903 in very good condition for $499. For about $30 dollars more I could of bought a Glock 19. Never even blinked. The 5903 is my safe. Quality semi-autos are hard to find in any condition. I will take a 3rd generation anyday over a tupperware weapon.
regards,
Howard
