Chiefs Special CS9 price check?
Found a CS9 at a local pawn shop and it appears to be in good condition with 2 mags no box or doc's, price seems a bit hi at $450. I did a price check on GB and it seems to be the price they are selling for but I already have a 3953 and love that gun. Just want to make sure I'm not missing anything by letting this one go, I dont think there is any wiggle room on the gun because it was just put out in the last few days. What do yall think?

Stainless? If I didn't have one, I'd be jumping on that.

I have been looking for a long time for one and I haven't seen one for sale yet. I'd buy it if it's in good condition.

Yes its stainless and in pretty good condition, I would be all over that but I'm trying to pay off my lay-a-way at another shop first and I already have a 3953 that I really like but........

My experience over the past 6 months on the various auction sites is that stainless CS9's in very good and better condition with two mags are going for $450 to $550 before shipping and ffl fees. I would say if you can hold it and see the condition and don't have shipping and ffl fees that this is a good price.

its a good/ok price, esp if in nice condition and you don't have to pay a shipping/ffl transfer fee. The stainless version does seem to be a little more in demand and able to command a higher price. If I needed another CS9 and could find a nice stainless one at that price I'd buy it. They are a nice combination of size/concealability, function/performance and reliability.

If it is in what I consider excellent condition for a used gun, I would have bought it at that price.

It won't be there long, so if you keep thinking about it you soon won't have to think about it anymore. Don't make yourself short, another will come along.

I agree with talion; if it's in the condition you report, I would not give it a second thought. I'd nail that thing before someone else figures it out.
As for going prices, a pistol is worth what someone is will to pay. GB had a couple recently that really showed their age, both went for around $450. They had a NIB for $700. That one did not sell. I think it was October, a NIB went for $620. Good luck.

I just received the one I bought mail order last week. It is 95% with three mags with box, CS9D, $399.99 plus shipping($22) and FFL fee of $25. So a fair price at $447. $400, without shipping and FFL, would have been a great price with 3 mags in that condition. I've been looking and bidding and searching for six months. If you can't swing this one, another will come along, you just have to jump on it right away when it does because they don't hang around long.
By the way, although I haven't shot my CS9D yet, it is perfect in the hand even with stock grips.

Thanks everyone, I think I will go by tomorrow and look at it again, who knows it may just speak to me.
