I'm not crazy about the grayish alloy frame on my 3913, I wish it matched the SS slide more closely. So, I'm thinking of having the frame done in some kind of matte black. Has anyone had their S&W alloy frame(s) coated/anodized, and can you share any pics of the end results?

Novaks in Parkersberg WV did a custom package for the 3913 some years back which included a black anodized frame. Very sharp looking two tone 3913.
