Default 3913LS Holsters

I'm looking at picking up a 3913LS tomorrow, anyone out there have a holster that you really like for CCW? I was looking at Crossbreed but they don't make one to fit the LS model. I would like IWB and kydex or similar retention. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Look on DeSantis site. I like mine, it fits 3913LS and 6906. Bill

Mine is in a Kramer #3, but I also have a DeSantis, and several Bianchi 3S. as well as a Brommeland IWB.

I know several with a Lady Smith that use a Sig 239 holster as well.

Perhaps fellow member Ray at Lobogunleather.com can lend a hand if he has the mold.
Hope that helps you out somehow.......

Randy

How's the retention on the Kramer? I really like the snap in place feel of kydex. And have not ever owned a leather. As this is only for CCW I wasn't planing on getting a LS, was looking at a standard 3913 or 3953, both with many options for holsters.

Kramer retention is outstanding! ...if the gun came out of the holster it is because "I" took it out. I don't need a thumbstrap retention on a holster.
I am sure that Kramer has the right mold for a LS......you won't regret it!

Yeah that is my concern, I don't want a thumb snap on a CCW holster, one more thing to go wrong in a time of need. I might contact them and see what they have for a LS mold.

Thanks growr.

Blade-Tech offers several of their holsters for the 3913. I have one of their UCH models for a Ruger LC9 and it's very well made and conceals very well. Take a look. Blade Tech holsters, knives and tactical gear for military, law enforcement, shooting competition and hunting.

The Crossbreed holster for the regular 3913 fits the LS models just perfectly as it does for the CS9 guns. All are the same as far as dimensions go for holster fit. I have all three and the only difference is how much frame/barrel sticks out the bottom of the holster. Good rigs, I highly recommend them.

So six250 you are saying your 3913LS fits in your 3913 Crossbreed? That's very good to know! I thought that because of the frame styleing that the LS wouldn't fit. I even called Crossbreed today and they stated it wouldn't fit. Doesn't mess anything up with the retention? Thanks for all the help guys. I'm gonna go to the gun show sat. and if there isn't a 3913 or 3953 there, gonna go pick up the LS.

Also six250 do you have any issues with the LS moving around in the Crossbreed? Any pictures of it in the Crossbreed?

Thanks everyone!

I picked up an "enhanced pancake" holster from forum member Lobogunleather.com. Great holsters for an affordable price. Ray has made 5 holsters for me.

I had always preferred that snap of the kydex holster too. Have Comp-Tac Infidels for most of my pistols.

When I got my 3913 I ended up getting a DeSantis Soft Tuck.
Sof-Tuck

They also make them for the LS.

This is a great IWB holster, adjusts from small of back all the way to appendix. I carry it at the usual 3:30.

Very easy to draw and re-holster and it's actually more comfortable than the Comp-Tac that I carry my M&P 9c in.

I have found that a holster actually designed for a Lady Smith with the tapered dust cover will accept a standard or non-tapered 3913 but not so the other way around.

May others on here have had a similar experience?

No issues at all with the LS or NL style guns in the holster. Retention is unaffected.

Yes that is true. Regular 3913's will fit 3913LS holsters but not the other way around. I recommend going with Mitch Rosen for the 3913LS. He is expensive but his work is top notch and he makes a true 3913LS holster. I just hate seeing nice guns in cheap $10 holsters but then again, I am a leather nut

Here is my Rosen Premier Full detail for the LS

Thank you everyone for your input, after reading everything everyone had to say as well as doing my own research, there just were not enough holster options for me. I found a nice 3913 at the gun show this weekend that I'm waiting on delay for. I hope this thread will serve to help others that are wondering the same thing I was about the NL and LS models. Thank you so much!

The Rosen Premier is no longer available for the 3913/3914 Lady Smith.

This 3913ls in a Lobo gunleather is my go-to piece for years. Not that this rig hasnt had competition I am often getting new holsters and I am comparing most of them to the comfort and fit of this one. This side clip is awesome for appendix carry. Lobo did recently sell out his company so I cant vouch for the quality of the new stitchers.
