Default Model 5906 "Tactical"

I'm considering buying the "Tactical" version of the Model 5906. I prefer getting one with a curved backstrap and adjustable sights. I'd appreciate getting inputs on what one of these should cost, nib or in excellent condition. Thanks in advance.

Probably $600 to $650 anib or nib.

Couple of nice used ones went in past couple of mos. on GB. One was $455 and the other was $516.

Good Luck!

I have never seen any tactical model 3rd Gen with factory adjustable sights. As someone who likes a rabbit ear semi-auto I would like to see if they exist just as much as you do.

The adjustable sight was available on the "Tactical" series but it was a different rear sight than the early ones that had the protective ears.

Thanks everyone for your inputs. I'll be on the hunt! If anyone knows of a "deal" on this pistol, I'd sure appreciate a heads-up.

presspics is right. Smith did make the 5906 Tactical pistol with an "earless" adjustable sight variant. I don't think this version was ever very popular; at least, after years of looking, I've never seen one in the flesh.
