Default Bodyguard Laser

I'm new, so I don;t know if this is the right form or not, but my laser crapped out, I tried all the known fixes but nothing seems to work. The laser will not come on. Can I just buy the replacement laser or do I have to send it back to S&W. Can a local Gun smith get it?

Thanks for any advise.

a friend of mine went to oil his BG and accidently oiled the laser (those lasers hate oil). he called S&W and they sent a new laser for free.
