Last year a had one of the first 17s to come to the states in the 80s I sold it and never felt bad. Yes they function but I get no gleam in my eye

A couple reasons these make sense to collect
***How many guys say my I could have bought a Python for $$$ wish I did
Not sure what will happen with these but I assume they will apreciate
I like collection Colt S&W revolvers Ruger #1s and I do when I get a chance (IE cost effective) these there are many chances right now so even a guy like me middle of the road can collect
**Every single one is on active duty no safe queens there
** The recoil is polite fun to shoot and more accurate than me!
** Built like a tank
** easy to take down and clean how else do we teach our kids and non shooter friends?
** some LE trades many if this gun could talk
** 9 is cheap
** I can blow a couple hundered on BS in no time this lasts
** I have friends all over with the net and blogs, when I need to know something jump on the fire or S&W forums
** paper money doesnt apreciate like coins Plastic guns dont apreciate like wood and steel

** its just fun
