check CDNN - I know they've had a lot of 6906 mags for sale but they may have all been LE 12 round. There are plenty of the 10 round mags available if you look around. Try Midway, Natchez, etc

Attempting to find 10 round magazines for my S & W 6906. Every place I look they are either out of stock or "discontinued". Any ideas from anyone?

Numrich/GPI will probably have all the parts, some assembly required.

Those are the hardest 3rd Gen magazines to find right now because... Commiefornia. Stupid me, I found a used one up in NH but I refused to pay the shop's high price. Now, I can't find any for even double that price.
Live and learn.

59XX series 10rd mags work/function in 69XX series pistols. May not look right but legal.

Mag Block has an adapter for I believe the 5906 that makes the mag you have carry less rounds. You should be able to install it yourself. I've done that for my 6904 but had to modify the block to allow for 10 rounds instead of it going to 7. It's made of plastic so it's not a big job. They are not expensive.

I have a few 10 rounders made by S&W, they were purchased during the first assault weapon ban under Clinton. Do to NYS ''Safe Act" I tried to get more 5 years ago and was told out of stock and best bet no more. What S&W did was put a strategically placed crimp in the mag body to reduce capacity. They worked fine in my 6906

There is hope for TTSH! Tonight I saw a crawl on Fox News that said that a federal judge in CA had issued an injunction against the state stopping enforcement of the ten round limit because it turned law abiding citizens into felons.
There's a long way to go in that case since the judge hasn't heard the case yet and of course it's in the Ninth Circus. Still, it might go to SCOTUS and be overturned in a few years.
At least for now, some 10 round mags might show up on the market.

I saw the news too. I was very pleased, but mostly I was pleased for our brothers and sisters in Commiefornia who, in many aspects, have it even worse than we do here in the anti-2A People's Republic of Taxachusetts.
Still, I don't think it changes much on the ground or in the various shops I haunt. S&W 10-round 3rd Gen magazines for the 6906, 5906 and 4006 pistols are all shopped out. There simply aren't any more left out there for me to find.
So now we pray that our rights to own "pre-ban" hi-caps hold... both in Commiefornia and elsewhere in other anti-2A states. It would be nice if the whole AWB thing and hi-cap bans were thrown out altogether by SCOTUS, but that will take a while if it ever happens. I may not live long enough to see it, but maybe others here will.

To finish TTSH's post:
"I have been to the mountaintop.

I may not get there with you.
