I just realized that the laser on the BG380 is always pulsing even when, to the naked eye it looks constant. I had just finished cleaning mine and I flipped on the laser (no slide on frame). I pointed into a dark corner of my workshop and started to swipe the beam back and forth on the wall. It was then that I noticed the beam had breaks in it. I flipped it to the pulse setting, did the same thing, but the gaps got wider. IDK if this has been mentioned before, and it may be the case that all lasers do this. I just got a kick out of it.
