S & W model 745 IPSC
The gun show in Portland ,OR. sold 2 ipsc model 745 .45 cal ...1 sold for 750.00 and the other for 1100.00 ...I dont get it... ....these prices in the great N.W are a little out there arent they...?????????

$750 seems about the norm for a NIB model 745, but prices are crazy. Have a local shop that has had a used 745 in their case for almost 3 years now, it keeps going and going on GunBroker. Think he has something like $1,100 for Buy Now. Apparently, isn't concerned about Selling Now.

i dont know what my dad paid for the one i have .... i seen 2 at the portland gun show and sold for 750 and 1100.00..times are crazy.....

I just picked one up 2 weeks ago, with 2 mags, no box, mint condition for $400 at Scheels.

I got mine off GB a few months ago for mid-$400 something delivered to my FFL with one mag. It has a few minor cosmetic issues but nothing terrible. I bought it for a shooter and companion to my 645. I had too many mags for the 645 so needed another gun that took them to average out!

I saw a used 745 (no box or extras) today in Jacksonville, Florida GS (Wild West, on Lane Ave). The gun had some sort of "anniversary" script or logo on the blued slide, the frame was SS, the grips were wood and checkered. It was in very good shape, very few signs of exterior wear, blued slide was excellent, wood grips were excellent, mag and internals looked new. I was tempted. Their asking price was $899.

I have one on layaway at a local shop. It's one of the non-IPSC models with the Wilson sights. $375 - no box. I'm bringing it home next Friday (09/14/12). I was pleased with how good it felt and the trigger job. I test fired it and accuracy was also good. I'm more of a S&W revolver guy, but this model caught my fancy.
Prices in the the Seattle and Portland areas do not reflect what guns are going for in the reast of the Northwestern U.S. Thankfully.
