New Big Dog grips for CS45
Just wanted to let everyone know that my Big Dog grips for my CS45 arrived today and have been installed. These new grips have transformed this pistol from loved to extremely LOVED! I could not be happier!
Thanks again Big Dog!

I keep thinking I'm going to get around to modifying one of the extra original 4513TSW factory grips I have in a drawer, using one of the spare Hogue bases ... just to see whether I'd like the difference going from Hogue to Delrin ... but I'm lazy.
Okay, a year of being side-lined by a serious health issue didn't help, either.
Sigh ...

It would appear that you have forgotten to post a photo.
...or are you just a tease?

Yes they are & yes they do. From what I understand, he modifies original S&W delrin grips to fit the CS series.

That's exactly right. He cuts them down and does such a professional job of it that they look factory.

That's a nice looking CS45. The BigDog grips are the ice-ing
on the cake. Had mine out for exercise a couple weeks ago,
and as usual, was amazed by the minimal recoil with the
BigDog grips on it. I think they call that "user friendly".

So, I just got back from shooting my CS45 for the first time and have to say that it is definitely a keeper. At 7 yards it was dead on. I only put 4 mags of my carry ammo through it, which is the Hornady TAP 230gr+p.

I've got to get with the program and attempt an alteration myself, or pony up the money for one of these grip conversions from big dog...I really like my CS40, but I think it'd be better without the hogue bump grips...

I really didn't mind the hogue grip that came with my CS45 nor did the hump really bother me. But when I installed the Big Dog grips it just felt better. It felt as if I were holding a 3in 1911. The pistol pointed more natural for me as well.

I meant no disrespect by my question. Those grips in jgould1980's photo looked just like my 4513 grips, and I recall seeing a photo a few months ago of Big Dog grips on someone's Chief's Special, the back of the grip finished below the frame and level with the mag. I thought that was what Big Dog did to the grips.
I thought that having the grips finishing level with the mag would look excellent on my 4513TSW, someday.
Anyway, thanks for the info!

Thanks for all the kind words....We have now went over 300 sets made and more orders everyday.......
I love them and the feel of them in the hand.
The shorts are better for concealment however the larger hand people seem to like the longs better.

Did the Big Dog grips help with recoil? I recently purchased a CS45, and there is not much recoil already. If the grips help any I would buy them instantly. Any less recoil would make a Red Rider Daisy BB gun kick harder.

I cannot say, as I waited to shoot my CS45 until I received my Big Dog grips. But even then, there was minimal recoil.
